the best weekend
One of my best friends moved in with me shortly after getting engaged…strategic timing? Perhaps…and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Levi has been an incredible friend for years now. From countless cups to coffee, to (for some reason) eating lunch at the same restaurant every time we hung out, to conversations that go deeper than with anyone I’ve ever known, this random guy that approached me in a coffee shop, quickly became a friend, a brother and a confidant. Levi is kind, incredibly loyal and has a depth of character that made me respect him right from the start. When he told me he was ready to marry Olivia, I basically gave them no option, but to let me handle everything…and I do mean everything! From planner and coordinator, to designer and florist to groomsman, it was a labor of love and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.
Olivia is a kind, yet fierce individual who loves deeply, fights for what she believes in and knows how to make people feel on top of the world. Once we discovered we basically had the same upbringing and our outlook on life is essentially the same, we knew we could team up against Levi (as needed) and I’ve never been more confident Levi chose the right person for him (sorry Levi!) Olivia knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding and the three of us jumped right into the thick of it. I don’t know about them, but planning the wedding of two of your best friends was so much fun! The way these people love the people in their life is selfless, extravagant and without expectation of return, so it was an honor to return the favor.
They chose Austin as a destination city for this wedding, with friends flying in from all over. The entire bridal party stayed together in a house and partied all weekend long- by the end of it all, everyone felt like family and none of us wanted it to end. We still talk about it, from a night out bar hoping downtown, to the rehearsal dinner white party to the wedding day itself, it was a near perfect wedding (ask me about my tuxedo pants some time!) and it was truly an honor to be part of it all. Love you L&O.
